What do you do for work? I'm a teacher and an educational psychologist. I came to Philly two years ago through a cultural exchange program, fell in love with the city, and decided to stay an extra year. Right now, I'm working as a nanny for a 1-year-old baby.
What’s your favorite potato? (sweet, French fry, mashed, etc) I’d definitely say waffle fries with chipotle mayo!
What show or series are you currently bingeing? Right now, I’m watching an Argentine series called Viudas Negras in HBO MAX — 100% recommended!
What movie, series, or TV show do you quote way too often? I’m obsessed with the Harry Potter movies! Whenever I have some free time, I love watching them.
What’s the most random thing in your fridge or pantry right now? Maybe it's a bit random, but I always have sweet snackies around for cravings hahah
If you could do a partner WOD with anyone famous – who would it be? That's an easy one — Bad Bunny, of course!
How did you end up at CrossFit 2 Street? To be honest, I ended up at CrossFit 2 Street because the previous gym I was going to closed, so I decided to give this one a try. But honestly, it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made! I feel so much more comfortable, included, and motivated here!
Advice for new CrossFit / BootCamp athletes…. My advice for someone new who wants to start CrossFit would be: be patient with yourself, and don’t be afraid to try it — this sport is designed for everyone, at any age. In my opinion, it’s incredibly beneficial for both your physical and mental health. Practicing CrossFit completely changed my life, and it’s something I recommend to everyone.
What’s your proudest 2St accomplishment? I think my biggest accomplishment is constantly stepping out of my comfort zone and pushing myself to get better — with weights, movements, and everything in between.
